Samaritan House is a Community Outreach Ministry, serving the community, by lending a helping hand with clothing and household goods at a low cost. Families in need are served at no cost.
We operate totally by donations and volunteer help.
We’ve been open since 2004 and are located in the old white church building by the park in Sinclairville, NY, centrally located in Chautauqua County.
Our goal is to reach out and be a helping hand to folks in need of household goods, furniture, appliances and clothing. On an average day we see 300+ articles of clothing leave the building, and requests for appliances and furniture are never ending.
We are open to the public on Wednesdays & Fridays.
Bagged donations may be dropped off anytime in our Donation Shed in the back parking lot. Household goods are accepted during open hours, or by appointment. All donations must be in good usable condition.
We welcome volunteers donating time to sort clothing and keep our facility clean and orderly. If you have time to lend a helping hand, please call and let us know. Volunteer time can be done anytime of the week. If your organization is looking for community service projects, we welcome your assistance. (Senior Groups, Youth Groups, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, School groups, etc.)
If you are connected with an outreach program looking for clothing to send to others in our country or overseas, please consider us to help you in your mission work. We want to share our abundance!
